The LANG 3-stage filtration system

The LANG machine consists of an exclusively developed filtration system capable of removing all harmful particles and odors from any tap water. This includes commonly found pollutants such as Arsenic, Barium, Cadmium, Chromium, Copper, Fluoride, Lead, Radium and Selenium. It also removes all viruses, bacteria, hormones, pesticides and pharmaceutical traces.


The LANG system incorporates the same type of professional water filters used by many major bottling plants. The 3-stage filtration system consists of:


  • 1-Micron Sediment Filter that filters out all larger particles and dirt in order to protect the reverse osmosis membrane from sediment build-up that would shorten its life span and reduce efficiency.
  • An Activated Carbon Filter, very effective in removing chlorine and other particles that create bad taste or odor in water.
  • Reverse Osmosis Filter made of a semi-permeable membrane that is the most efficient way to clean harmful pollutants from tap water. The LANG system uses a very high-efficiency R/O membrane that not only filters any ions, molecules or larger particles found in tap water, but does this at high speed.

Using LANG

Self-cleaning & no installation needed

LANG is designed to be easy to install and requires next-to-no maintenance. Its smart design ensures the machine stays hygienic and that there’s no hidden water storage.

To make life even easier, LANG is self-cleaning. An integrated rinsing program is automatically performed every two weeks to kill off bacteria and germs while removing all flavor residues for your clean water.

Exchange of filter cartridges

LANG filters are built to last so we recommend changing the filters after every 20.000 liters of clean water, or every 2 years.

Switching filters is simple. In just three steps you can remove the old cartridges and replace with new ones to continue enjoying pure, clean water.

Exchanging mineral and flavor LANGPAK containers

Swapping out LANGPAKs is even simpler. The lid at the top gives you access to the LANGPAK containers.

Location A and B is for the mineral concentrates. One LANGPAK of each of mineral A and B will produce 250 liters of mineralized water.

Location C is for LANGPAK beverage flavors. You can swap between LANGPAK flavors whenever you want, and LANG will remember how many servings each pack has left.

Hot water temperature adjustment

The LANG machine is designed to provide hot water with an ideal temperature for immediate consumption, with the standard setting producing 80°C water. If cups are not pre-heated, the temperature will quickly fall to a perfect drinking temperature when the cup is full. To customize the temperature settings between 70-90°C, follow the simple steps in the User Manual.

Machine washable jars

The tap and clean water jars are made of plastics free of BPA (bisphenol) and they are built to contain hot liquids. They can be washed in a dishwasher using a normal wash program and standard detergents for plastic products. To remove limescale build-up in the tap water jar, simply soak it in citric acid de-scaler (1:35 solution) for 60 minutes before rinsing.

LANG – Swiss engineered and developed

LANG, based in Switzerland, is the result of a decade of development by our in-house team, who have also worked closely with world-leading specialist partners.


Working with these experts has allowed LANG to tackle the complex challenge of efficiently cleaning tap water of all pollutants, then adding back precise doses of minerals. Having solved these engineering challenges, we also had to develop a compact high-performance boiler that is capable of producing 1.5 liters of water at 90°C in less than 6 minutes. By designing such a fast, high capacity system, all LANG drinks are prepared instantly without the need for any built-in storage tanks that can contaminate cleaned water.


The LANG machine contains a sophisticated control system to ensure that all parts of the machine work correctly at all times. To get the job done, we incorporate load cells as well as smart sensors which continuously monitor all aspects of the LANG machine including pumps, valves, and boiler. This ensures that water is properly filtered, the correct heating temperatures used, and exact dosages of minerals and flavors administered.


All this had to be offered at a low cost, in a compact package, free-standing without any installation required. As a result of using cutting-edge solutions, LANG is now packed with numerous patented and patent pending technologies.

Designed by Industrial Facility

The LANG All-in-One drinks System has been designed by renowned London based studio Industrial Facility led by Sam Hecht. Design’s role is to allow a new technical innovation to feel natural. The Lang All-in-One Drinks System compresses 3 different functions – purification, heating and flavouring – into one architecture. We made the process visually simple by how the product is arranged – tap water is entered on the left, with controls in the centre. On the right, A BPA-free, clear jug containing clean, healthy water can move naturally to the table or to the refrigerator.
